UTAH CCW ADD-ON

Carry in 38+ States With a Utah Concealed Firearm Permit

A Utah CFP pairs with your California CCW to give you reciprocity across the country. One course. No range time required.

Why California CCW Holders Add Utah

California's CCW permit is excellent for carry within the state — but it has limited reciprocity outside of it. A Utah Concealed Firearm Permit changes that. Utah's CFP is recognized in more than 38 states, making it one of the most widely accepted permits in the country. For Californians who travel, work, or spend time in other states, a Utah CFP is the practical solution.

The Utah permit does not replace your California CCW — it supplements it. Together, they cover you in far more situations than either permit alone.

Illustrative map showing states that honor a Utah Concealed Firearm Permit (Green -Yes; Blue - Constitutional Carry States, and Yellow - Some Local Restrictions Apply). For current reciprocity details, always confirm with a Utah BCI.

Important: Reciprocity can change quickly, and you must follow the laws of the state you’re physically in (age requirements, prohibited locations, duty to inform, signage rules, vehicle carry rules, etc.). Always confirm before traveling.
