Col. Roger Harvey (US Army - Ret.) led the US Military Pentathlon program from the Pentagon and later from the US Olympic Training Center for 6 years. He has three podium finishes in international competition (Rome, Hanover, Paris). He is a retired University Professor in kinesiology (motor learning). Sgt Mike Gardnar, LBPD (Ret.) Mike was a distinguished law enforcement officer for over 20 years with the Long Beach Police Department. He has personal experience as a participant in 4 officer-involved shootings. Sgt. Garner has been a supervisor of many other officers involved in the use of deadly force, an LA County Reviewing Officer, and District Attorney Shooting Review Team member for officer-involved use of deadly force. He was frequently assigned instructor duties and was particularly called upon to coach fellow officers who needed to improve their tactical decision-making proficiency and marksmanship skill.
World-class shooters spend 10 hours dry-firing for every hour with live ammo. We use state-of-the-art dry-fire exercises and equipment (laser guns, Mantis-X accelerometer, LaserShot Judgement Training Simulator, etc.) before your first shots - so it is not uncommon for a new shooter who has never even HELD a pistol to shoot their first 5 shots better than marksmen with decades of experience.
SAFETY FIRST ... then COMPETENCE, CONFIDENCE, AND FUN!
